Kanban and AI: Evidence Over Opinions
Ask an AI assistant when your work will be done and you'll get one date. It won't tell you how likely that date is, and it got there by averaging what you've done before.
Generic Kanban knowledge is the easy part and it's already out there. Any assistant can be taught the difference between an average and a percentile. What none of them can know is you: your stages, your limits, where you actually start the clock, what your shop means by done, and who reads the answer once it comes out. You've probably never written any of it down, and that's the real reason your AI can't help.
Over three half days you write all of that down, properly, probably for the first time, and then you teach it to whatever AI tool you already use. You'll point it at a real board export and get back what needs attention today, and run a forecast that comes back as a range with a probability on it.
